Non alcoholic fruit beers start life as a normal non alcoholic beer and they have the addition of fruit for flavouring. Typically, they should be all beer with fruit added at various stages of fermentation.
I have been a little naughty in this list and included “Radlers” or Shandy in the UK. These are 50/50 mixes of beer (non or alcoholic) with a fruit drink such as lemonade of carbonated fruit syrup.
For the purposes of this, i am calling any non alcoholic beer that has had its flavour significantly enhanced by a fruit, a fruit beer. Don’t start writing me letters please!
The 11 Best Non Alcoholic Fruit Beers And Radlers
One of the major drawbacks of the fruit beer (and radler) category is the nutrition. As soon as you start adding fruit, fruit syrup or lemonade, you significantly increase the sugar load and calories.
This can be exacerbated by the fact a lot of these type or beers, especially Radlers, are based on German non alcoholic beers which can be isotonic.
This means they have salts and sugar in the same concentration as your blood with a sugar level of around 3g per 100ml which is 50% above the non alcoholic beer average of 2g per 100ml.
For more information on isotonic beers, you can read my article on it here
I would note that i am a UK reviewer so limited to what i can buy or order online in the main. I am working on ways to increase my reach, especially into North America.
1. Erdinger Grapefruit ABV 0.5%
Type | Radler |
Calories | 25kcal per 100ml 88.8kcal per 12fl oz |
Carbs | 5.6g per 100ml 19.9g per 12fl oz |
Sugar | 4.8g per 100ml 17g per 12fl oz |

I don’t even usually like grapefruit so imagine how good this must be for me to include it. It pips the Erdinger Lemon by a hair.
Well crafted on a brilliant base beer with just the right amount of fruit and sweetness.
Technically a Radler with 50/50 mix of beer and grapefruit drink
You can try these at Wise Bartender as well, a brilliant non alcoholic retailer

Carbs | 5.6g per 100ml 19.9g per 12fl oz |
Sugar | 4.8g per 100ml 17g per 12fl oz |

There is very little between the Erdinger Lemon and Grapefruit. They are both exceptional fruit beers.
The Erdinger Lemon hit the spot in terms of acidic, sweetness and being refreshing.
Erdinger has 2 amazing beers here. Like the Grapefruit, this is a Radler with 50/50 of Erdinger Alkoholfrei and lemonade

Carbs | 4.9g per 100ml 17.4g per 12fl oz |
Sugar | 4.5g per 100ml 16g per 12fl oz |

This is easily the best of the No Worries range. I don’t think i’ve had a pineapple beer but this was brilliant.
I think they have the mix of IPA, pineapple, sweetness and bitterness just right in this.
It is definitely worth a try if you can.

Carbs | ?g per 100ml ?g per 12fl oz |
Sugar | ?g per 100ml ?g per 12fl oz |

t is a minor worry that Lowtide hide the nutritional data from us but i expect it is quite high in sugar.
However you aren’t going to drink lots of these at once. As a one off fruit beer it is delicious.
A Belgian Blond with apricot flavour? What’s not to like?!

Sugar | 0.8g per 100ml 2.8g per 12fl oz |

I know a Radler isn’t a full fruit beer but this one is particularly refreshing and low in calories and sugar.
Radlers are 50/50 (non) alcoholic beer and lemonade.
This was light and refreshing and a nice mix up if drinking on a sunny day.

Carbs | 6.4g per 100ml 22.7g per 12fl oz |
Sugar | 4.7g per 100ml 16.7g per 12fl oz |

Grapefruit is a common fruit beer flavour as it brings acidity. I am not normally a bit an of grapefruit but it works nicely in beer.
If i had to choose, i would pick the Erdinger but both should be tried.
This is a shandy mix of 50% beer and 50% grapefruit drink so is lighter than a full non alcoholic fruit beer.

Sugar | 5.1g per 100ml 18.1g per 12fl oz |

The best of the Mikkeller Limbo series where they use a new yeast with passionfruit producing flavour.
It tastes rustic and primitive as they say but a pleasing raspberry flavour comes to the fore.

Sugar | 5.8g per 100ml 20.6g per 12fl oz |

This is one of the better No Worries Fruit IPAs.
There is a nice even mango taste with good body and balance. Towards the end you can start to taste the sugar more and more so perhaps not a session beer.
As a one off, it is very nice.

Sugar | 3.2g per 100ml 11.4g per 12fl oz |

Yuzu is a fruit many will not have came across but this is very acidic and sour.
It has an enormous citrus hit for anyone who wants that and the Mikkellenis yeast adds its distinctive passionfruit flavour
I think this particular beer is not running but you can look for more by Mikkeller at their website

Carbs | 4.9g per 100ml 17.4g per 12fl oz |
Sugar | 4.5g per 100ml 16g per 12fl oz |

No Worries Grapefruit has a lot less carbs and sugar than the Mango and whilst that is good for nutrition, it don’t think it was as good for flavour.
Erdinger and Clausthaler both have the better Grapefruit beer
You can try these at Wise Bartender as well, a brilliant non alcoholic retailer
For UK readers, Light Drinks has this and others, if you use code OPENINGTHEBOTTLE you get an additional 5% off
11. Lervig No Worries Lemon ABV 0.5%
Type | Fruit IPA |
Calories | 29kcal per 100ml 103kcal per 12fl oz |
Carbs | 8.5g per 100ml 30.2g per 12fl oz |
Sugar | 5.8g per 100ml 20.6g per 12fl oz |

I probably can’t recommend this one unless you love the No Worries range.
The sugar felt too much and i didn’t get enough lemon.
Go for Erdinger Lemon all day long.
