Lucky Saint 0.5% Lager Review

Lucky saint beer i bought and drank for this review

Lucky Saint Lager Review. A quality low cal, non alcoholic brew…

Brewery – Lucky Saint

Country – Germany

Style – Lager

ABV – 0.5%

KCal – 16 (100ml)

Sugar content – <0.01g (100ml)

Carbohydrate content – 3.5g (100ml)

Tasting – This is one of the lowest calorie, lowest carb, no sugar beers out there. It’s a really refreshing drink. Most of the zero sugar, non alcoholic beers can taste watery and empty. In general you need alcohol or sugar to give body seemingly. There are a good few notable exceptions and this is one of them. It does have that German pils taste to it. Clean and crisp on the palate. Nothing offensive at any point from start to finish. Great effort

Verdict – 8.5/10. Its getting some extra 0.5-1 or so for the great nutritional profile

Lucky Saint notes

Does Non Alcoholic Beer Taste The Same

Our lager is satisfyingly fruity with a refreshing, crisp citrus finish. Our beer is left unfiltered allowing for maximum flavour without the alcohol.

What The Press Say

  • “It’s brilliant… I’m still waiting to find the beer that beats it.”The Daily Telegraph
  • “Our favourite for a great booze free choice.”The Independent
  • “One of the best alcohol free beers going.”Time Out

Other reviews

This is an established brand available in the big supermarkets. Its trustpilot is at a whopping 4.8/5 with over 90% rating it excellent. The overwhelming majority on trustpilot think its brilliant with a lot rating it their favourite non alcoholic beer. Heady praise indeed. I certainly do like it. Some of the others ive tried just pip it. Bitburger 0.0 and Schneider Weisse for my money were just a bit better
